MOONPYRAMID.JPG
There was full moon New Year's Day, which doesn't seem all that special when consider that each and every day of the year seem all that special when you consider that each and every day of the year has a one- in-29.53 chance of being a full moon. But it was a little unusual when you consider that full moons occur on the first day of the year only once every 19 years, the duration of a Metonic cycle. And it was even more unusual when you consider that New Years Day will be a full moon on the first day of the last year of a millenium will take place 19,000 years from now.
