ECLIPSE_SF_0140a_fl.jpg
The moon turned a yellowish brown to a blood red during Tuesday night's total lunar eclipse as it passed by the TransAmerican Pyramid in San Francisco. The moon's surface darken as the earth's shadow creeped across it to create a partial eclipse from just before 1:51am (PST) with the total eclipse visible one hour later...8/28/07. {Photographed by Frederic Larson}
