It is the official start of the summer season and summer solstice, the day with the longest hours of sunlight during the year. To top it off, a rare "Strawberry Moon" will be on display in the sky tonight. A Strawberry Moon, very low with an amber glow, coinciding with the first day of summer is uncommon, according to experts. A Strawberry Moon on the first day of summer last occurred in 1967 -- the Summer of Love, according to theEarthSky.org. And it won't happen again until June 21, 2062, the website states.
